SO YOU'VE BEEN ROPED INTO A WEDDING PARTY, AND NOW YOU'RE COMING TO SCOTTSDALE WITH ALL YOUR BASIC B*TCHES…

Perfect weather, amazing food, poppin' bars, gorgeous golf courses, why not? I'm giving you a short list of the best restaurants, group activities, and more to get through your drunken weekend.

BACHELORETTE + BACHELOR PARTY RECS

  • Maple and Ash
  • Geisha A Go
  • Toco Madera

Fun Group Activities

We know all the best golf spots already... 🙂

Spa day at The Omni.

ATV Riding out by Fountain Hills and We Ko Pa.

Book a cabana and day rage at Hotel Valley Ho or Hotel Adeline,

Hike Pinnacle Peak (not as hard as Camelback and plenty of good picture-taking spots).

Ben Avery Shooting Facility

Hike Camelback Mountain if your group is up for the challenge.

The Waste Management Phoenix Open is a bucket list experience for all. Check out my WMPO page.

Go to a Coyotes game in Tempe and a Sun's game in downtown Phoenix.

Top Golf is always a fun group activity!

Talking Stick Casino...nicest casino in town.

  • If you're looking to kick your party up a notch and not pay $15 a cocktail, hire Dream Dealers for an in-house casino night.

PLEASE schedule an IV treatment to come to you - all the drinking and dry air will wear out, and they make a huge difference - plus you'll feel way better and ready to go for round 2.

Bars / Happy Hour Spots

  • Grab a drink at the vibey old-school Canal Club inside the Scott.
  • Buffalo Chip Saloon in Cave Creek for a true Yeehaw night.
  • Loco Patron is a super fun spot for a group setting (order their Blaster shot if you really want to get things going).
  • Roc Bar for awesome live music.
  • If you really want to be a degenerate, the dirty circle of Saddlebag Trail + E Indian Plaza in Old Town is jammed with bars and clubs. It is a black hole of expensive drinks and loud music and scantily clad bartenders. You will definitely wait in line and pay a cover on weekends. Do with this what you will.
  • Bevvy has to be my favorite, though - always seems to have the least creepy men, and they play throwback 2000s hits with music videos.
  • Boondocks has a massive outdoor area and is a popular spot to watch games and drink with with fun people. Hot Chick is right next door and has cute 70's hippy vibes.
  • The District/Maya has a huge outdoor section with bars, games, and statement decor to take pictures in front of.

Scottsdale Big House - This house is perfect for a group of guys. Lots of space and a plain yet nice interior, girls would think is boring. Comes with a big pool, a hot tub, and a fully equipped kitchen. Sleeps 16 (but can sleep 30).

Cozy, Tasteful Design - A little more zen and smaller than most group getaways, but has beautiful neutral tones accented by wood throughout the house. A relaxing outdoor pool area and cozy bedrooms to unwind in - not your typical Scottsdale party house. Sleeps 6.

The Manor on Camelback - A massive group house with plenty of activities inside and mid-century modern design with artsy decor?! YES. Not only does this mansion have a pool, game room, movie theater, sauna, and putt-putt- it is beautifully designed and has the perfect ultra-cool vibe to it. They even offer concierge services for a private chef, event tickets, horse rides, spa days, and more. Worth the splurge. Sleeps 16.

The House of Vibes - For something that is still Instagram-able but not so cutesy/sorority girl. This house has incredible trippy wall paintings, a full zen-style dinner table with seats on the floor, and still the picture-perfect neon signage, SIX mirrors with chairs for the gals to get ready in, and a peaceful backyard. Sleeps 16.

Advice

LADIES- If you are the designated party planner of your group, you need to check out SCOTTSDALE BACHELORETTE- not only will they help plan the best bachelorette party ever, but they also offer events like hiring a cabana boy to come to your pool for the day, private chefs, decorating, excursions, and more!

To those that don't know...some people's worst nightmare is seeing a stampede of ladies led by a bridezilla dressed up in matching cowboy hats and boots or a group of drunken men crashing golf carts and reeking of beer. 😂Always be polite, and it will get you far...

  • If a rideshare driver happens to be super great/not creepy/has a big enough vehicle, I always get their phone number, so I can call them whenever needed. Saves the hassle of waiting around and never knowing what you get when hopping into an Uber/Lyft.
  • Always tip….at the golf course, at restaurants/bars, and at spas…locals appreciate it, and you may even get special treatment.
  • It never hurts to call in advance for your big group - sometimes, places will accommodate you with deals or greet you with a special message.
