My Background
I'm originally from Lexington, Kentucky, and I moved to Scottsdale, Arizona, in 2018 to pursue a golf dream. While I still love my hometown in Kentucky, I have absolutely loved every second of living in this state! I have had many awesome adventures – not only on the golf course but with the people, the lifestyle, and the beautiful desert. I created this blog to give golf trip advice and share how fun this state is. Cheers!
How I Got Started
I started playing golf at 3 years old with my dad and grandparents and eventually got a full-ride scholarship to a Division 1 school. I came to AZ and had an awesome journey of playing a ton of mini-tour events, Monday Q's, US Open Qualifiers, and state open, and I participated in Q-School for the LPGA. I now work in the golf world and have been in the business for 5 years in Scottsdale, AZ- I love this game so much, and I can truly say I play it for pure enjoyment.
I also love any kind of adventure- whether it be on a hiking trail, a game to play, a fun bar, a cowgirl adventure, or wherever the wind takes me. It's hard not to want to do it all out here.
My Recommendations
I have been living in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area for 5 years and have lived life to the fullest since then. A disclaimer- I love beautifully manicured golf courses, I love janky municipal courses; I love cheap beer in a dive bar, I love fancy cocktails in a boujee setting; I love intense hikes, and I love easy strolls with a good view. I love it all here, and I've done my best to research, provide resources, and read reviews of every activity I recommend. What might not be my favorite might be yours, and vice versa. There is so much to do and see in this spot, send me a review of your own adventure whenever you feel like it!
